Paint with Chocolate

You can eat chocolate anywhere. All nations cater to those that have a sweet tooth. But what about using this delicious dessert in art work? You'll have to travel a bit to take advantage of such a unique opportunity.

The Hyatt Regency Dubai has announced the first ever-chocolate painting competition. The event is exactly what it sounds like. Children will devise their dessert-based creations using nothing but chocolate in a range of different colors. Contestants will be judged on creativity, and participants must be at least 11 years old.

These culinary contributions will also be part of a week-long exhibition, taking place at the hotel from the April 13th to the 23rd.

“Chocolate is just one of the areas where our chefs excel at, so it was no surprise when we came up with this wonderful event," said Alan Massouh, Hotel Manager, of the Hyatt Regency Dubai. "I have two children of my own and they jumped at the opportunity to show off their creativity. It is a great way to spend the Thursday afternoon with the family and have a little fun!”

Additionally, an Easter egg painting competition will take place for youngsters between 4 and 11 years old on the same day.

The events will commence on April 13 at 2 p.m. Prizes will include a night’s in the hotel’s Royal Suite, vouchers to the hotel’s restaurants and much more. There no cost to register, so hop on a plane today. Where else can you play with your food and not get in trouble?
