Random Act of Chocolate
Yes, we all know (especially this time of year) that chocolate makes a great gift. And we at Barkeater Chocolates not only sell a lot of chocolate for gifts, but we give quite a bit away as well. For example, a contest winner on a blog is getting a custom 8-piece box of gourmet truffles that she purchased with her $25 gift certificate. And at each of our shows – we give away a box of truffles to one lucky winner.
But, how about giving the gift of chocolate to someone who you don’t even know? It’s a crazy thought – but surely there is someone you know OF who is going through a rough time that is surely even rougher given the time of year. How about giving an anonymous gift just to brighten someone’s day. No, it won’t pay for necessary medical tests or solve world hunger. And it won’t help someone find a job in these tough times. But it will bring a smile to someone’s face and this time of year – smiles are worth more than anything you can buy at Wal-Mart.
So your task is to find someone at church or work or the nursing home down the street (or how about that overworked/underpaid Wal-Mart worker) who could use a little pick-me-up. We’re here for your random act of chocolate – and we promise a world of good will come from it!
