Without Chocolate, You Have No Life!
In June, we asked our customers to submit slogans for our Second Annual Year of Chocolate Contest. The hundred or so entries we received were witty, colorful and hotly contested!
After researching the entries to confirm they were original, staff at Barkeater Chocolates picked the top 10 slogans. And so, the games began. The slogans were posted on our Facebook and Twitter pages for voting. After hundreds of votes were tallied, we came up with a surprising conclusion - we had a two-way tie! We unleashed a sudden death match; a three day voting spree that resulted (barely) in one winner.
Karen C. from Arizona won the slogan contest with her line, "Without Chocolate, You Have No Life." She will receive a four piece box of gourmet truffles every month for a year - along with a tee shirt printed with her winning slogan. In addition, we chose a random fan to receive another prize. Linda F. from New Jersey will get an eight piece box of gourmet truffles and one tee shirt to add to her collection.
Who knows what next year will hold? Perhaps a jingle contest?
