Alexandra and Nicolay specializes in premium chocolates crafted from the centuries-old secret recipe from the court of Russia's last Czar, Nicolay . Our handmade chocolates are sculpted using only all natural ingredients that embody the richness and sumptuousness of Romanovs imperial court. Alexandra & Nicolay signature assorted tin contains creamy truffles, luscious fruits soaked in special syrup and a delicious blend of hazelnuts and honey all enrobed in premium white, dark and milk chocolate. Today every Alexandra & Nicolay chocolate is prepared with one goal in mind: to bring a little ruthless indulgence to the Czar and Czarina in all of us, because everyone deserves to be royally pampered and spoiled. Company uses Callebaut chocolate for dipping succulent apricots stuffed with almonds (called fruits of the czars), to coat honeyed dried fruit and nut mixtures soaked in brandy (gold-leaf clusters) and to cover layers of praline and biscuit wafers (Rasputin`s wafers). We make truffles, some shaped like peasant women in babushkas (breakfast of the czars).
