About Amy Peterson Chocolates
Amy Peterson Chocolates began in 2008 after experimenting with candy making in Amy's home kitchen. After receiving rave reviews from friends and family she decided to pursue her love of candy making into a profession. Starting on a shoe string budget, she was able to locate a local bakery willing to rent their commercial kitchen. This opportunity would open up opportunities to sell at local craft shows and farmers markets and expose her decant treats to the masses.
In 2010, Amy was given the opportunity to work out of her own commercial kitchen in Frankfort, Illinois and continues to make her confections there to this day. Her salted caramels have become a favorite in the Chicagoland area and sell out regularly along with her toffee, seasonal truffles, chocolate covered corn flakes and Heavenly Clusters (turtles).
