I loved the taste, consistency, textures, everything about this bar. The flavors all meld together well, it's organic, something I am big on, and I could feel good about eating this for its antioxidants, low glycemic index ranking, and lack of cholesterol, not to mention the fact that it is soy free. I have found other "healthy" chocolates to taste just awful and get thrown away after a bite or two, but not this one. I actually wish this was available in my local grocery stores so I could get it more often. If you want the flavors to taste even better, try sticking it in the freezer - this is what I like to do to candy to intensify things and to slow me down in eating them to help with weight loss. I will say I was surprised that it was still chewable after being in the freezer, not rock hard like milk chocolate or other, more widely available chocolates, even the 90% dark. - Heather Miller

I'd never heard of Gnosis Chocolates, so figured when I had a gift certificate I'd try something completely new to me. Oh. My! Amazing! Oh my! The heat was just enough to feel it perfectly with a glass of red wine. The added fruit and nuts added the sweet chew that helped prolong the depth of flavor.
I had expected the lack of dairy to create a dearth of cooling that good chocolate often creates on your tongue. I was shocked in the best possible of ways when it provided the perfect in the mouth melt and subsequent temperature drop that increased the flavor sensation. The heat, though touted as intense, was not intense in the least and most closely resembled an addition of flavor rather than a trip through taste torture.
I recommend this chocolate for those of us who want a flavor experience in addition to an amazing chocolate base. The foundation of this bar is far above average, their addition of the heat (and sweet) is clever and sets this producer's product above most other chocolates.
