I ordered a box of these (and a few other items) as a gift to a coworker - who doesn't like 'turtles'? My order arrived on time, but contained two boxes of pecan burrs instead of a box each of what I actually ordered. After emailing Chocolate.com to tell them of the mistake, I received a prompt response. They apologized for the error, and "encouraged me to enjoy" the extra box while awaiting arrival of the correct item. That package arrived the very next day. I was also sent a gift certificate (which arrived about a minute later, in another email) as further apology. I shared the extra box of burrs with all my coworkers and to a man they were declared some of the best dang 'turtles' they'd ever had. I really appreciate the way Chocolate.com went the extra mile to make sure I was happy. I told my coworkers where the chocolates came from, so I am pretty sure the company's largesse will result in a few more customers, and I am pleased to have been their ambassador here where I work. The pecans were crispy, with just enough salt to enhance the chocolate and caramel. They had what i call "excellent chew factor" (otherwise known as texture, I guess :)). I have registered at this site and will definitely shop here again the next time I want to treat someone to some very wonderful stuff. I was also VERY impressed with the selection on this site.
