I found these caramels to be very good, but not what I had expected. I was expecting chocolate covered caramels, which these are not. These caramels have the chocolate mixed into the caramel. They were a nice chewy consistency, not too hard.

I found these caramels to be one of the best I ever tasted. The creamy, butteriness of the caramel mixed with the sweetness of the dark chocolate was superb. The caramels were not hard, but not too soft either but instead had the perfect firmness and texture. I would highly recommend these to everyone who has a hunkering for caramels.

It has been too many years since having any dark chocolate carmels. I can remember receiving a box (similar to a cigar box) full of caramels. In with the regular caramels, there were a few chocolate carmels. We would fight over the chocolate carmels. Yes, these are as good as I remember.
