Grown in the U.S.A. on the Kona Coast of the Big Island of Hawaii where the island sun does its magic, this harvest of cacao is handpicked, sun dried and processed by cacao growers who adhere to the highest standards of excellence.
Our limited release of Vintage Hawaiian Mauna Kea Dark Chocolate (55% Cacao) is intensely bittersweet and rich in mineral flavor from the volcanic soil which it is grown. You think you can taste shades of fresh pineapple, Hawaiian sugar cane, tree-ripened coconut and Kona coffee and feel the soft trade winds with the salt water breeze, but maybe that is just your imagination going wild.
