For those who like their treats sweet AND spicy we're bringing the heat with our Chile Lover's Collection! Includes two each of our three complex and flavorful chile candies. First the lively Zydeco truffle, featuring a mélange of dried red chiles rehydrated in some 100% agave tequila, roasted red peppers and artisanal chile jam. In our homemade perzipan base the chile elements shine front and center testing the boundaries between savory and sweet! The same rich chile combo is incorporated into our Diablo truffle with its dark chocolate ganache; reminiscent of a rich, dark mole this is the very essence of the primal chocolate and chile experience of the Aztecs. Finally, our crunchy Down the Hatch features our handmade toffee embedded with flakes of real green chile from Hatch, N.M. that we dehydrate to intensify the flavor. We dip the toffee in dark Callebaut chocolate and top it with ground cocoa nibs and smoked vanilla sea salt. Not for the timid! Go ahead, we dare you!
