As a lover of Japanese foods, particularly edamame, I was very intrigued by this product when I saw it. I just had to know what this would taste like, because I didn't know how the tastes of chocolate and edamame would blend, and if they would blend well. edamame and chocolate are definitely an interesting combo. i think that the crunchy, salty, earthy edamame are good with the chocolate. although, they would be better if the chocolate coating was thicker on the outside. the cocoa powder is very thin (as stated it is a dusting), more like a candy shell than chocolate coating.

70% bittersweet chocolate coats dried edamame. A sprinkle of sea salt and a light dusting of cocoa powder.
Bitter and more bitter. Dried edamame (soy beans) are coated with intense 70% cacao.
