Our dark chocolate cocoa beans are prepared carefully by hand. The beans first arrive to us direct from the farm in Quevedo, Ecuador. They are 100% Arriba Nacional beans. We hand roast them in a copper kettle and then peel each bean individually, casting out any beans that are improperly fermented or defective. This close attention to detail, and the quality of our beans, make them superior to any other product on the market today. We then pan our beans, using the chocolate made from the same beans-all single origin cacao of the highest quality. After adding several coats of our famous 70% dark chocolate, we package them by hand and seal them in a zip-top pouch.
