64 of Dilettante's finest hand-dipped truffles in this beautiful silver gift box. Enough for your whole office or a great gift for a party to share! Total net weight: 32 oz. When Dana first opened his Dilettante cafe in the Capital Hill District of Seattle, he would stand outside with samples of his hand dipped truffles to spread the word about these exquisite chocolates. One thing his signature silver box line has in common is the faint taste of Ephemere. "Ephemere" is the signature flavor of Dilettante and is derived from Dana's proprietary cooking method of caramelizing the butter, sugar, and cream early on in the cooking process. This method leaves a hint of unique flavor throughout all of Dilettante's truffles and cakes and from a technical perspective it extends the shelf life of these hand dipped truffles to 6 months (a typical hand dipped truffle will only last 3 months.) The silver box line is comprised of the original truffles that made Dilettante what it is today! What Do I Need to Complete an Order?You will need a valid email address, a valid credit card, and an accurate shipping address. You do NOT need a previously created account with Chocolate.com.

How Do I Place an Order?To begin the ordering process, you must find the products of your choice and click "Add To Cart." Once you have added an item to your cart, you will see the option to begin the "checkout" process. During checkout you will need a credit card and a valid email address to complete your order.

Will an Invoice be Shipped With the Box?No, we do not include invoices in the box. Your gift recipient will NOT see details such as order total or transaction information. These details are sent to the gift buyer via email.

Can I Place A Custom Order?Yes. The Chocolate.com Custom order system will help you to send an inquiry to ALL of our vendors at once. In return, the vendors will bid on your inquiry. It's a great way to find the chocolate maker with expertise that meets your needs, and also to get a fair price. Vist the custom order page to begin. Is My Credit Card Secure?Our shopping cart pages are secured by Thawte - a leading global Certification Authority that uses stringent authentication and verification processes to ensure your credit card information is safe. This means that it is protected and not readable until it is received by the payment gateway. To protect your long-term security, we do not save your credit card information after your order is complete.

Can I Send a Gift Note?Yes. During the checkout process, you will have the option to enter a note for your shipment(s). The gift note will be included with your selected product when it ships. Invoice or order total will NOT be included in the shipment.

Can I Ship To Multiple Recipients?Yes, you can ship one product to as many recipients as you wish. You must begin by selecting a QUANTITY that matches the desired number of recipients. At the shipping address page, you will have the option to enter multiple shipping addresses and match products with each one. You may also upload an excel spreadsheet and send to a list.

What if the Recipient is Not Home?All shipments are made with UPS. Chocolate.com does not require a signature for all shipments. In cases where a signature is not required, the UPS delivery person will usually leave the package in a safe place. In some cases, the UPS delivery person may choose to NOT leave the package at the door if he/she believes it is unsafe. In such cases, an attempt to deliver is made the following day.

What days of the week do you deliver?All shipping is done via UPS. Ups delivers packages Monday through Friday.

Can I Ship To a PO box?Unfortunately, no. All of our shipments are done through UPS and UPS does not have the ability to deliver a shipment to a PO box.

How Much Will Shipping Cost?All shipping is done via UPS. Before you checkout, we communicate with UPS to determine the rate. Our products are shipped by a variety of vendors located across the U.S.. Shipping charges vary based on the location of the recipient and the location of the vendor. You can see the estimated shipping charges by entering a zip code when viewing product detail. Look for the input box that reads "please enter the zip code of the package recipient." You give us the zip, we give you the rate quotes.

How Are Products Packaged?There are no invoices or order totals included with our shipments. Many vendors will use cooling packs to ensure that your chocolate product does not melt. In general, Chocolate.com relies on the experience of the vendors to properly package each product. Some products require extra packaging, some do not.

Can I schedule a special delivery date?Yes. If you need delivery on a special occasion, we can help. To submit your desired delivery date, you must add a product to your cart, then enter your email address and billing information. At the "Shipping Method" page you will have the option to select a specific delivery date. Your selected ship and delivery dates will also be reflected in your confirmation email after your order is complete.

Can I Ship to an APO or FPO box?Yes! There is a very unique service, called APO Box™, that allows our customers to send a gift to an APO/FPO box. APO Box™ is a private company that forwards our UPS packages to military APO/FPO addresses overseas via the US Post Office. Do you ship OUTSIDE the U.S?We ship to the following countries: Canada, United Kingdom, United States, Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Japan, New Zealand, Netherlands, and Spain.
