About The Product
Mission Feral Fig: Hello mission figs, cranberries and almonds! This chewy-crunchy combo is a flavor experience with cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and fleur de sel, to boot!
With Mission Feral Fig, Rescue Chocolate brings awareness to feral cat colonies.
What is a feral cat? Feral cats are those who live outdoors, avoid human company, and tend to congregate in colonies where they often form deep bonds with other cats.
What can you do? If there is a feral cat colony in your neighborhood, you can contact your local cat rescue group to find out about Trap-Neuter-Release (TNR) programs for reducing the population humanely. The beauty of TNR is that cats who are not suffering acutely can live out their lives in peace. And, they can perform a vital ecological function: they act as a natural brake on rodents. There is no need for city animal control to round up and euthanize the ferals, which leaves more space and money for cats and kittens coming into the shelters from other avenues.
When all communities move towards a policy of TNR, we will call that Mission Accomplished!
