The Carenero Region in the mountains, east of Caracas has been renowned since the colonial period for its cacao. Complex flavor notes of fruit, flower, nut and spice provide an intense chocolate taste. Available in six different chocolate selections: Apamate Dark 73.5%, Gran Saman Dark 70%, Mijao Dark 61%, Bucare Dark 58.5%, Caoba Milk 41% and Icoa White. Each box contains 12 bars, 2.8 oz per bar, 2 pounds of gourmet chocolate. This chocolate can be eaten out of hand for a treat or used in your favorite recipes. This selection is El Rey dark 70%.
