I ordered a couple of these lovelies for my partner and I to enjoy. What a delightful combination of flavors and textures! I think the only change I would make (and this is entirely subjective and not included in the criteria I used to make my rating) is that I'd love just a little more caramel. This chocolate is extremely satisfying; everything about it is exactly what you would expect from the description. I think I'll try the mint bar next. :) - Marianne Stone

Snow-capped Huckleberry Mountains...massive treats!
These chocolates are beautifully decorated and the silver box compliments the presentation well. The chocolate shell was shiny and had a nice snap to it. Despite this, I was apprehensive because I figured that since the chocolatier used huckleberry preserves, the ganache might be grainy. I was happily wrong! The center of these delightful candies was so smooth and creamy, that I had a difficult time eating them slowly. All in all, I thoroughly enjoyed these chocolates and was actually sad when they were gone. - Susan Laird

Purchased this with a Groupon for Sweetest Day. If you're looking to spend about $30 for a gift (these were $32), this would be a perfect choice. First of all, they are soft, delicious cookies, and about half are dipped in chocolate. The oatmeal raisin were exceptional. They come packaged on a round wicker tray, which you can reuse. I bought them for myself but they would make a great gift. Nicely presented. - Marianne Guy

I ordered a box of these (and a few other items) as a gift to a coworker - who doesn't like 'turtles'? My order arrived on time, but contained two boxes of pecan burrs instead of a box each of what I actually ordered. After emailing Chocolate.com to tell them of the mistake, I received a prompt response. They apologized for the error, and "encouraged me to enjoy" the extra box while awaiting arrival of the correct item. That package arrived the very next day. I was also sent a gift certificate (which arrived about a minute later, in another email) as further apology. I shared the extra box of burrs with all my coworkers and to a man they were declared some of the best dang 'turtles' they'd ever had. I really appreciate the way Chocolate.com went the extra mile to make sure I was happy. I told my coworkers where the chocolates came from, so I am pretty sure the company's largesse will result in a few more customers, and I am pleased to have been their ambassador here where I work. The pecans were crispy, with just enough salt to enhance the chocolate and caramel. They had what i call "excellent chew factor" (otherwise known as texture, I guess :)). I have registered at this site and will definitely shop here again the next time I want to treat someone to some very wonderful stuff. I was also VERY impressed with the selection on this site.
